Peter Tessier: Next Year is More Important for Jets RFAs Looking one year ahead for the Winnipeg Jets and factors that affect their next round of RFAs.

I think Wheeler and Little will sign similar contracts for 5-7 years for 4.5-5.5 million per year. I'd say Wheeler should get closer to 5.5 and Little should get closer to 4.5.

Bogosian and Burmistrov will probably sign bridge contracts for 2-3 years and get the big contracts in a few years after we can further evaluate their play and determine their value.

I hope youre right about all 4 players -- but i think Burmistrov ends up in the K if he doesn't get bigger bucks than a bridge contract.

Sounds about right except for Bogosian. I think he's going to get a pretty god contract. Last year he took on alot of responsibility and handled it well. I think they may be interest in a aggressive RH D like him.

At least Bogosian is just an RFA. If he gets an offer sheet (if they still exist) Cheveldayoff can just match, or take some picks. Nice to have a legit third d-man!
